I’m Erica, the owner, and I am so thrilled you stopped by to learn a little more about my boutique.
Back in 2018, I was a full-time registered nurse and a mama of five when I decided to start selling clothes in my “free time” (yeah, right!) out of my basement.
I’ve always enjoyed shopping and the world of fashion, and I have a good eye for styling. And let’s be real, I am originally from Southern California- YEP born and raised- so shopping was everywhere. While attending nursing school in South Dakota, I quickly noticed a huge demand for clothes!
In October of 2019, I decided to take the leap, quit my full-time RN job, and lease out a storefront in Yankton. We outgrew that building in just a few short months! That's when I decided to buy a 4500-square foot building right in downtown Yankton.
My Dad and I did some remodel work during the COVID-19 shutdown, and we opened our new location on May 15th, 2020.

I have always had an eye for fashion and SHOPPING! I moved to South Dakota In 2013 from SoCal to peruse my nursing degree. Graduated from Mount Marty in 2016 with my BSN. I started selling clothes on the side of being a full time nurse and mom and here we are today!!
Holly | sales associate
A familiar face around the town of Yankton with tons of sales experience. Holly assists with social selling & in store sales. Holly would love to help you shop!
Sarah | lead merchandiser
Sarah is our lead merchandiser, inventory manager/ bra fitting specialist. Sarah moved from San Diego, CA to Yankton to attend nursing school at Mount Marty. Sarah has 4+ years of bra fitting experience at her previous in San Diego. Come pay her a visit and get custom fitted!
Sydney | sales associate
Sydney is a sales associate and has been with SBE since 2022. She is a college student starting at USD in Vermillion this fall! Congrats Syd!
